Jenny's heart is that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that YOU ARE ENOUGH through Christ and the finished work of the cross. Life is hard, we experience pain that shatters and distorts the way we see not only God and others, but ourselves. Many times we really don't know to who or even how we can reach out for help. Shame tells us we are the odd balls and others would never understand or judge us. Jenny is here to offer a completely safe place for you to explore those areas in your life that seem overwhelming and down right scary. She will walk alongside you in grace as together you seek Scripture and God's heart for your specific situations, struggles and pain.
Jenny feels especially called to women working to define who they truly are. We’ve been told who to be so much of our lives and it has shattered the very identity God intended for us to begin with. She and her husband have been married for 28 years and during that time have walked through addictions, betrayals, separations, restorations and many really tough and really beautiful times. Jenny has learned through trial and fire that the only way to support others in a healthy and loving way is to first honestly work at supporting and loving yourself. You can only meet others to the degree at which you have met yourself. She would love to explore the great issues of life that so easily trip us up and keep us from the peace and rest of God that passes all understanding. Jenny approaches Counseling from a Protestant and Biblical Worldview, but also holds much respect for a client to engage their own beliefs.
Robert Ragland
Robert has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor. He is experienced in working with people on the following concerns: marital issues, men’s issues, childhood trauma, current trauma, and family dynamics. Robert began helping people in the Mental Health field in 2000, and has had the privilege to walk with individuals and couples through difficult times. This experience has given him the perspective that even though we may face extraordinary challenges, if provided with the right tools and understanding, overcoming them becomes natural. Robert is trained in EMDR Therapy.
Robert is a Certified First Responder Counselor 2024
"I believe people have the capacity to change if provided a safe environment in which to recognize and overcome obstacles or barriers to personal happiness. I am passionate about seeing people experience freedom and seeing marriages healed, and I believe God is the ultimate healer.
Robert holds a Biblical world-view, and approaches life from a Christian perspective. Jesus Christ is the main source for true healing. Although this influences his response as a counselor, it is important to him that each person's belief is respected without judgment.
